Summary

Venture investment has been exploding over the past few years in Japan, and there are more investors and is more available capital than ever. Accessing this capital, however, requires navigating a landscape with a wide variety of investors (including angel investors, VCs, corporate venture capital (CVC) funds, and corporations themselves), all with their own incentives, decision making processes, and resources. This talk will focus on explaining the different types of Japanese startup investors and what they’re looking for, how to best present your startup to them, and the advantages and disadvantages of working with each.
